Android Backend Developer (Custom Services – WebRTC & Socket.IO)

Job Overview:

We are Looking a talented Backend Developer with hands-on experience in WebRTC and Socket.IO to build and manage real-time communication services for Android applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with the mobile team to develop custom backend solutions, optimize performance, and ensure seamless integration of live features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom backend services for Android apps.
• Implement real-time communication features using WebRTC and Socket.IO.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for mobile integration.
• Ensure low latency, scalability, and high availability of backend services.
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to design efficient data models.
• Implement secure authentication (JWT, OAuth2) and session management.
• Collaborate with Android developers to support real-time features (chat, voice/video, live streaming).
• Troubleshoot backend issues, optimize system performance, and monitor live services.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong expertise in WebRTC and Socket.IO.
• Solid experience in Python (FastAPI / Django / Flask) or Node.js for backend development.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and real-time architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Docker / Linux environments.
• Good knowledge of network protocols and handling real-time data transmission.
