Android Developer

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Android Developer with 4–5 years of experience to join our growing mobile team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. About the Role

As an Android Developer, you will work closely with our product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build modern, efficient, and user-friendly applications. You will play a key role in transforming business and UX requirements into clean, scalable code using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks. You’ll be expected to write maintainable, testable, and efficient code while following best practices and contributing to technical discussions and architecture decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver new features.
• Implement clean architecture and MVVM/MVI patterns for scalable codebases.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, Firebase services, and third-party SDKs.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure app stability and performance.
• Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, share feedback, and maintain code quality.
• Monitor and fix bugs, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
• Stay current with latest Android technologies, Jetpack libraries, and best practices.
• Contribute to deployment and maintenance on the Google Play Store.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 4–5 years of hands-on Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Java experience is a plus).
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, ViewModel, Coroutines, Room, and Retrofit.
• Familiarity with Material Design principles and UI/UX collaboration tools.
• Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development workflows.
• Knowledge of Firebase, push notifications, and in-app analytics.
• Experience working on healthcare or patient-facing apps (preferred).
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
