Android Developer

About the Role

SolutionsLoft is looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in modern Android app development. We want someone who writes clean, maintainable code, understands mobile architecture deeply, and enjoys creating seamless, user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
• Implement clean and scalable architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Jetpack).
• Integrate REST APIs, SDKs, and third-party libraries.
• Optimize app performance, debug issues, and improve stability.
• Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and trends.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Strong command of Kotlin and Java.
• Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack Components, LiveData, ViewModel, Room, etc.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and modern app architectures.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Google Play Store deployment.
• Strong understanding of Material Design and UI/UX principles.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Knowledge of Firebase, push notifications, crashlytics, and analytics.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
