Android Developer

Job description

• Design, build, and maintain high quality applications for the Android platform
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Translate designs and wireframes into clean and efficient, high performance, reusable, and reliable code
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Performing unit tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance
• Monitoring the performance of live apps
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency, staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related subject
• Knowledge of Android SDK and UI design principles and interface guidelines, patterns, and best practices Programming Language
• Programming Languages
• "Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Java, MVVM Architecture, Coroutines, Retrofit, Room Database, Git, Firebase
