Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern Android development and a solid understanding of agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test-driven mobile application features following Agile software development methodology
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Java and Kotlin
• Utilize modern Android architecture components, including Android Jetpack
• Implement reactive programming using RxJava
• Integrate RESTful APIs using Retrofit
• Ensure adherence to industry coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, UX/UI, and backend developers

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on Android development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin
• Experience with Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, etc.)
• Experience with RxJava and Retrofit
• Strong understanding of TDD (Test-Driven Development)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
