Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Android Developer with strong hands-on expertise in core Android development, modern frameworks, and architecture patterns. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Kotlin, Android Jetpack components, and performance optimization for enterprise-grade mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Implement robust architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, or MVI) ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Work with Android Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, Room, and Navigation.
• Integrate RESTful APIs using libraries like Retrofit, OkHttp, and manage offline data through caching strategies.
• Optimize UI for multiple screen sizes and orientations, ensuring responsive and accessible design.
• Implement secure coding practices to safeguard user data and API communications.
• Write unit and integration tests using frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile products.

Must-Have Technical Skills:

✅ Core Android Fundamentals:Deep understanding of Activity, Fragment, Service, BroadcastReceiver, and ContentProvider lifecycles.

✅ Programming Languages:Strong in Kotlin (Primary) and Java (Secondary) – with proven experience using Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous operations.

✅ Architecture Patterns:Hands-on with MVVM / MVI architectures and clean code principles.

✅ Libraries & Frameworks:Expert in Retrofit, OkHttp, Jetpack Components, and Dependency Injection (Hilt / Dagger / Koin).

✅ UI Development:Experience in XML layouts and Jetpack Compose for modern UI design.

✅ Database Management:Proficient in SQLite, Room, and data caching mechanisms.

✅ Tools & DevOps:Practical experience with Android Studio, Git, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.

✅ Testing Expertise:Knowledge of JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito for unit and UI automation testing.

✅ Security Practices:Understanding of data encryption, API key protection, and secure authentication flows.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Jetpack Compose for declarative UI design.
• Exposure to Firebase, GraphQL, or WebSocket-based integrations.
• Familiarity with Play Store deployment and release management.
• Prior experience in technical validation or team mentoring roles.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to ₹3,600,000.00 per year
