Anesthesia

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and review patient medical histories
• Develop and implement anesthesia care plans appropriate to patient condition and procedure
• Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia as required
• Monitor patient vital signs and physiological status throughout procedures
• Manage airways, ventilation, and hemodynamic stability
• Respond promptly to anesthesia-related complications or emergencies
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
• Ensure proper documentation of anesthesia records
• Maintain anesthesia equipment and ensure availability of medications and supplies
• Follow patient safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards

Required Qualifications

• Medical degree with specialization in Anesthesiology
• Valid professional license to practice anesthesia
• Current BLS, ACLS certification (PALS if required)
• Prior experience in a hospital or surgical setting preferred
• Knowledge of anesthesia pharmacology, physiology, and monitoring techniques
