ANESTHESIA TECH

Duties

• Wipe and clean all anesthesia cables (BP cuff, EKG cable, Pulse Ox cable) after each case with hospital approved Sani Wipes
• Wipe and clean anesthesia machine and change blue towel after each case.
• Replace suction canisters used by anesthesia.
• Set up anesthesia machine after each case
• Restock anesthesia supplies within the anesthesia machine such as ET tubes, tongue depressors, yankurs, blades, etc.
• Restock anesthesia supplies in the Pyxis such as IV extension sets, EKG leads, syringes, tape, alcohol pads, stopcocks, etc.
• Check and restock anesthesia machine/cart in Labor and Delivery
• Take specimens to the lab as needed.
• Bring requested equipment to the room such as Glidescope, Infusion pump, etc.
• Assist Anesthesiologist with their request.
  
  

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school graduate or equivalent

Healthcare Experience Preferred
