Anesthesia Tech

Under the supervision and direction of a licensed nurse, the Anesthesia Technician supports the Anesthesia Department by providing equipment and supplies in a timely manner for each OR case. Maintains open communication and is available to component organizations and practitioner sites for consultation.

Anesthesia equipment is maintained and cleaned. Facilitate resolution of issues that create barriers to delivery of care.
Assigned cleaning and stocking is performed by the end of the shift. Work areas maintained in a clean, neat organized fashion. Supplies are used in a cost effective manner by minimizing waste and charging appropriate supplies to patient.
