Anesthesia Tech

Adjunct full time position to assist anesthesia department in day to day maintenance of stock and equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assists anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) by setting up equipment and preparing stock items for cases.
• Orders, stocks, and maintains anesthesia supplies, and equipment.
• Washes and sterilizes re-usable equipment and reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel.
• Performs safety checks on anesthesia equipment and assists anesthesia personnel as needed.
  
  
  

Education: High School Diploma/GED required.

Certification : CPR required

Experience: 2 years experience in Operating Room or Anesthesia Dept preferred.

Additional Experience Preferred

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Clinical experience in a hospital setting.

Knowledge of Inventory processes.
