Anesthesia Technician

Job Description Summary:

Position Responsibilities

  • Checks, maintains, and prepares all related anesthesia equipment according to policy and instructions for use (IFU) including but not limited to anesthesia machines, EKG monitors, defibrillators, etc.
  • Cleans, checks and stocks all anesthesia carts daily.
  • Reports any deficiency or fault in operation immediately to Supervisor/Anesthesiologist.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly anesthesia supply room at all times.
  • Assists anesthesia personnel as deligated including but not limited to blocks, central lines, etc.

Qualifications

  • License/Registration/Certification

    • CPR certification required.
  • Education

    • High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of an ASATT approved acredited program preferred.
  • Experience

    • 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
