Job Summary:

The Anaesthesiologist will be looking after critical care service mainly and carrying out duties of Anaesthesia as and where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

· Taking round of the clinical areas of the hospital for monitoring treatment plans.

· Heading critical care of the Hospital services.

· Evaluate patients before surgery to assess their medical condition and suitability for anaesthesia.

· Determine the appropriate anaesthetic plan and obtain informed consent.

· Administer general, regional, or local anaesthesia during surgical or diagnostic procedures.

· Monitor patients’ vital signs, oxygenation, and response to anaesthesia during procedures.

· Provide post-anaesthesia care, including pain management and recovery monitoring.

· Respond to anaesthetic emergencies and manage critical situations.

· Maintain accurate anaesthesia and patient records.

· Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

· Participate in pre-operative and post-operative rounds.

· Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of anaesthesia equipment and drugs.

· Adhere to hospital infection control, safety, and quality standards.

· Participate in continuing education and departmental meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

· MBBS with MD/DNB/DA in Anaesthesiology from a recognized institution.

· Valid registration with the Medical Council.

· Minimum 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in a hospital setup (preferred).

· Exposure in critical care.
