What You'll Do

  • Educate and support pet parents throughout the policy lifecycle by helping them understand their coverage, benefits, and claim submission requirements, while assisting with enrollments, policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and ongoing policy maintenance.
  • Provide responsive, high-quality support through phone, email, and chat while building trust and confidence with pet parents.
  • Research and resolve customer concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to positive outcomes.
  • Process premium payments and update customer billing information accurately and efficiently.
  • Document customer interactions thoroughly and accurately within company systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Meet established quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction expectations.
  • Maintain knowledge of pet insurance products, coverage options, and company processes while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, contact center operations, insurance, healthcare, or a related customer-facing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to support customers across phone, email, and chat channels.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenging customer situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Experience in pet insurance, insurance, veterinary services, healthcare, or financial services.
  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment.

Where you’ll work:

This job opportunity can be fully remote or hybrid in Leawood, KS (Tue-Thu in office)
