Animal Care Assistant / Diver

Responsibilities include but are not limed to:

• Assist in the preparation of food according to established procedure.
• Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of utensils and equipment used to feed and care for animals.
• Assist in facility maintenance of the animal areas.
• Perform water quality duties.
• Enter Data into TRACKS.
• Complete animal behavioral observations and report abnormalities to supervisor.
• Participate and dive in both daily and evening underwater programs
• Perform maintenance of dive equipment
• Perform dive duties in exhibits
• Assist with coordinating dive volunteers.
• Adhere to all governmental/AZA policies regarding acquisition, husbandry, records, and animal health.
