What You’ll Do:

- Provide daily care for dogs, cats, and other household pets (feeding, walking, cleaning up after pets, administering medications as needed)

- Keep pets happy and healthy by following specific care instructions.

-Conduct in-home visits and overnight stays as required

-Communicate with pet owners through updates, reports, and photos

-Work independently with a high level of responsibility and care

-Assist with light admin tasks or client communication, as needed

- Meet new furry friends every day and enjoy the joy of spending time with animals.

-Recieve quality training to deal with an assortment of animal temperaments

Requirements:

- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being

-Someone who’s comfortable and confident around animals. Previous pet care experience is a bonus

- Reliable transportation is required – you’ll need a vehicle to travel between pet visits, you will be traveling between Silver Spring and parts of NW DC

- Availability for weekends and holidays. Overnights is a requirement

-Strong communication and time-management skills

-Reliability, consistency, and a willingness to commit long-term

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
