Position: ANIMAL/CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

FLSA: Regular/Full-Time/Non-Exempt/Union Represented

Salary Range: $29,120/Annually

Reports To: Lieutenant/Captain

Position Summary

Performs animal control and Code Enforcement duties within the town limits.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS And REQUIREMENTS

Valid New Mexico Drivers License with acceptable driving record.

High School Diploma or GED Certificate

Animal Control Officer Certification, preferred.

One (1) year of experience as an animal control/Code Enforcement Officer or related field.

A combination of education and experience may be substituted to meet the minimum requirements.
