The Humane Society of Charles County is looking to add Med Tech team members who understand that caring for animals is a tough but rewarding calling. Our team is dedicated to the physical & emotional health, and medical treatment of those lives in our care.

Med Tech team members must be compassionate and love animals; have reliable transportation; work 9-6, weekends & holidays; be physically able to bend, stoop, and safely handle dogs, cats, and other small animals. Our Med Techs must have experience in preliminary evaluation of animals' condition, giving medications and vaccinations, performing blood draws, and determining when an animal must see a veterinarian. Additionally, they must properly clean and sanitize animal enclosures, and perform animal enrichment activities.

Prior animal medical experience is required.

• Veterinary experience / certification

• Computer experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
