POSITION SUMMARY
The Animation Designer creates high-impact motion graphics and animated content that enhance Spokane Tribe ResortCasino's brand, promotions, and entertainment experiences. This role produces visually compelling animation for a wide range of platforms, including on-property digital signage, paid media, CTV, LED walls, web, and large-format displays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and produce motion graphics, animated typography, loops, promotional messaging, and screen takeovers for large and small format LED displays.

Develop animations, transitions, and motion assets that support brand identity and campaign objectives.

Adapt and version existing artwork across multiple screen sizes, formats, and resolutions.

Ensure all digital content maintains clarity, readability, and visual hierarchy at a wide range of viewing distances.

Prepare, package, and optimize motion assets for playback.

Monitor playback quality and screen performance to ensure accurate, smooth display execution.

Work closely with the creative services team, marketing managers, and functional partners to support promotions, property events, and STRC initiatives.

Collaborate with the digital marketing team to align digital signage content with website, email, paid advertising, and social content campaigns.
- Organize design files, animation project structures, and deliverables to support efficient revisions and reuse.

Troubleshoot visual, playback, and formatting issues as needed.
- Manage project timelines through project/task management tools to ensure deadlines are met.
- Work periodically under conditions of extreme urgency (creating higher levels of job stress.
- Work flexible schedules, when necessary, may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED. College degree in graphic design, digital media, animation, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in motion graphics, digital animation, visual design, or digital signage.
Skills and Abilities

Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite.

Demonstrated experience with video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).

Proficient understanding of video encoding formats, resolution scaling, and aspect ratios for LED signage.

Understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and storytelling in motion.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and visual consistency.

Demonstrated ability to translate conceptual direction into polished visual deliverables.
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborate, receptive to feedback, and able to revise and refine work based on input.
