Animation Faculty

1. Training & Instruction

• Conduct regular theory and practical sessions on 3D animation, modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, and rendering using Blender.
• Teach video editing, color grading, and post-production workflows using DaVinci Resolve.
• Demonstrate animation principles, storytelling, and scene composition.
• Provide one-on-one mentoring to help students improve their creative and technical skills.
• Guide students in developing professional-quality showreels and portfolios.

2. Curriculum & Lesson Planning

• Develop lesson plans and assignments aligned with the institute’s syllabus.
• Stay updated with the latest features, plugins, and techniques in Blender and DaVinci Resolve.
• Suggest improvements to the curriculum to keep it industry-relevant.
• Coordinate with the academic head for batch scheduling and course delivery.

3. Student Evaluation & Support

• Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and presentations.
• Provide constructive feedback and help students overcome learning challenges.
• Encourage creativity, experimentation, and teamwork within classroom projects.

4. Technical & Software Management

• Ensure lab systems and software are updated and functioning properly.
• Recommend new tools, assets, or resources that enhance training quality.

5. Collaboration & Professional Development

• Work with other trainers to organize workshops, seminars, and masterclasses.
• Maintain knowledge of current trends in 3D animation, VFX, gaming, and post-production.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in Blender (modeling, animation, rigging, rendering, compositing)
• Strong knowledge of DaVinci Resolve (editing, color grading, visual effects, and sound)
• Understanding of animation principles, cinematography, and storytelling
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Creativity, patience, and the ability to inspire students
• Familiarity with additional tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro, or Unreal Engine) is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
