Role Description

digitalfarm is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Animator to bring ideas and stories to life through motion design and animation for social media platforms. The Animator will work closely with the creative and account teams to develop engaging, visually striking content that enhances client campaigns and brand storytelling.

The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, and visual storytelling, with a strong understanding of how to create content tailored for digital and social media audiences. This role requires both technical expertise and creative flair to deliver high-quality animations in fast-paced timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Create animations, motion graphics, and video assets for social media campaigns.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and account managers to develop creative concepts.
• Adapt existing brand assets into dynamic social-first content.
• Storyboard and visualize ideas for campaigns and content calendars.
• Edit, refine, and optimize animations for different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
• Ensure all creative output is aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Stay up to date with trends in animation, video, and social media content.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the overall creative direction.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years of experience as an Animator or Motion Designer, ideally within an agency or creative studio.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop (Cinema4D or Blender is a plus).
• Strong portfolio showcasing animation and motion graphics work for digital platforms.
• Solid understanding of social media formats, storytelling, and audience engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and visual sense.
• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Design, Media Arts, or related field preferred.
• Arabic language skills are a plus.

Additional Requirements

• Must be based in Abu Dhabi.
• Must have prior social media or agency experience .
