Animator / Motion Graphics Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Animator / Motion Graphics Designer with strong editorial instincts and a passion for visual storytelling. This role will be responsible for developing creative concepts, storyboarding, and producing dynamic motion pieces across music-focused content including lyric videos, album visualizers, motion covers, and promotional assets.

What You’ll Do

• Conceptualize and design storyboards, motion sequences, and overall visual direction for music-related projects.
• Create engaging lyric videos, album/track visualizers, and motion cover art aligned with each project's aesthetic and narrative.
• Edit and assemble footage, graphics, typography, and audio into polished final deliverables.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop new visual styles, concepts, and brand-consistent visuals.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high creative standards and meeting deadlines.
• Stay up to date on motion design trends, animation styles, and editing techniques.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other relevant design/animation tools.
• A solid understanding of motion principles, pacing, rhythm, and composition.
• Excellent editing skills, including timing, typography integration, and storytelling through motion.
• Ability to conceptualize a visual narrative and translate it into clear storyboards and compelling motion.
• Strong eye for graphic design, layout, color, and typography.
• Experience creating motion assets for music or entertainment brands is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, take creative feedback, and deliver high-quality work on schedule.
• A portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, animation, and storytelling ability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
