Job Title: Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM)

Department: Nursing / Community Health

Reporting To: Staff Nurse / Medical Officer / Health Supervisor

Job Summary

The ANM is responsible for providing basic nursing care, maternal and child health services, and community health support. The role focuses on preventive, promotive, and curative healthcare services, especially for women, children, and families.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Nursing Care

• Provide basic nursing care to patients under supervision
• Assist doctors and staff nurses during examinations and procedures
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, BP, respiration)
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards

Skills & Competencies

• Basic nursing and midwifery skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in hospitals and community settings
• Knowledge of public health programs
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude

Qualifications

• ANM Certificate/Diploma from a recognized institution
• Registered with State Nursing Council
• Basic knowledge of computers (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
