We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to manage guest flow, and a commitment to maintaining a positive atmosphere within the establishment.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.
- Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests.
- Assist in resolving any guest concerns or conflicts promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Supervise dining room operations during peak hours, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Conflict management abilities to handle challenging situations gracefully.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Leadership qualities to supervise staff effectively during busy periods.
- Experience in a casino or similar fast-paced environment is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
