Anticipated Computer Technician

Vacancy Notice:

The Pocono Mountain School District wishes to inform you of the following posted anticipated vacancy for the 2026-2027 school year.

• Computer Technician

The computer technician provides technical support, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance services on all technology based systems, structures and networks within the scope of the district's mission.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business or other technical field, preferred
• Industry recognized technical certification, preferred
• Knowledge of current computer and LAN / WAN technologies, industry trends
• Knowledge of best practices with respect to supporting, troubleshooting and maintaining based systems, infrastructure, programs and services to support organizational needs

Job Description

Salary commensurate with the collective bargaining agreement. The selected candidate shall be chosen based on credentials, the ability to demonstrate job functions and the successful completion of interview(s) along with meeting all local requirements.
