Anticipated Library Media Specialist

SVUUSD is seeking a Library Media Specialist for Grades K-6 for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will service two (2) buildings: Castleton Elementary School and Orwell Village School.

This position is designed to support students and teachers in achieving national and state standards represented in local curriculums as well as the Common Core State Standards; to transform the school library into a full-service learning center that incorporates both books and contemporary technological tools including but not limited to educational research databases and presentation/video-editing software.
