AP Claims Specialist

We are looking for a dependable, detail-focused professional to join our AP team as a Claims Specialist. In this role, you will manage and monitor claims by working directly with vendors, sales reps, freight carriers, and stores. You will track claims using a combination of Airtable, Excel, and Outlook, ensuring documentation is accurate and that the process moves forward smoothly. If you enjoy solving problems, staying organized, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks, this role offers the chance to make a real impact behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

File and track claims for missing or damaged items using Airtable

Work with vendors and carriers to secure credits or arrange replacements

Ensure all required documentation is submitted accurately and in a timely manner

Monitor claim status and keep store teams informed on progress

Assist stores with claim-related questions, follow-up, and guidance

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Working knowledge in Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on consistent follow-up

Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Dependable and reliable, with strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work effectively and professionally in a team setting

Ability to take initiative and demonstrate sound judgment when solving
