AP Computer Science (A) Teacher

Teachers will work with students remotely through Zoom or Google Classroom.

Position Overview: Exploring Scholar is seeking an AP Computer Science (A) teacher to join our high-performing team. Ideally, candidates currently teach AP Computer Science during the day and are looking to do some extra teaching during the after school hours and weekends. This is a fully-remote, contractor position. Teachers are expected to teach a minimum 2 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Teaching experiences in AP Computer Science A in a reputable school setting.
• Proficient in online teaching tools.
• Up to date with the curriculum changes for 2025-2026.
• Must have reliable after school availability during September - May

Responsibilities:

• Prepare APCSA lessons.
• Deliver high quality lessons to small classes of 1-12 students.
• Help promote students' interests in the subject.
• Provide feedback on student homework and assessments.

• We are also hiring for: In Person math, science, physics, and english (ELA), and remote AP economics, AP statistics, and AP computer science.
• Compensation: Compensation is calculated by teaching hours and prior experience.
