AP Economics Teacher (Micro and Macro)

Experiences teaching Micro/ Macro AP Economics (either in the USA or Canada) is required for this teaching position - Applicants with this experience are encouraged to apply.

Teaching Position: Exploring Scholar is seeking an AP Economics teacher (for micro and macro AP economics) to join our team. Teachers will work remotely with students through Zoom or Google Classrooms. Ideally, candidates currently teach AP Economics during the day and are looking to do some extra teaching after school hours and on weekends. This is a fully remote, contractor position. Teachers can expect to teach for a minimum of 4 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Teaching experiences in AP Microeconomics AND Macroeconomics in a reputable school setting.
• Teachers must be proficient in online teaching tools for classes.
• Must have reliable after school availability during September - May.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare AP economics lessons.
• Deliver high quality lessons to small classes of 1-12 students.
• Help promote students' interests in economics.
• Provide feedback on homework and assessments.
