A&P Mechanic Jobs in Greensboro NC – Position Overview

As an A&P Mechanic, you will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on large commercial aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance data and company procedures. Work is performed in a team environment with a strong focus on safety, documentation, and quality.

This is a contract position supporting heavy maintenance operations.

A&P Mechanic Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance checks and C-check work on commercial aircraft
• Complete maintenance, repair, and modification tasks in accordance with approved data
• Read and interpret company and manufacturer maintenance manuals
• Perform line maintenance functions independently when required
• Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed

A&P Mechanic Requirements

• Minimum of three years of commercial aircraft maintenance experience
• A&P License required
• Experience with large commercial aircraft modification programs
• Experience supporting heavy maintenance and C-check environments
• Ability to read and understand company and manufacturer manuals
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be able to pass background check and obtain required badging
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
• Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and work stands unassisted
• Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces
• Must have own tools and reliable transportation
