Rose Aircraft Services, Inc. was founded in 1964 and continues to operate at the Mena Intermountain Airport in Mena, AR. Our Company provides genuine “One-Stop” service for all Avionics, Maintenance, Interior, and Exterior Refurbishments for Private, Corporate, and Government aircraft.

Are you looking to work as part of a team that strives for excellence? If so, we want to meet you. We are seeking to hire a A&P Mechanic for our Mena, AR location.

Job duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Airframe and Powerplant Certificate Required
  • Occasional short notice travel to Little Rock
  • Must possess minimum tooling required to perform duties assigned
  • Must be able to work various shifts, as directed by management.
  • High school graduate or equivalency degree required.
  • Attend one Flight Safety International Initial Corporate Aircraft Maintenance Course by make & model.
  • Knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 91, 135, 145.
  • Two to Four years related aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
  • Perform maintenance and updates to components and accessories of aircraft such as checking the wings and tail to identify any corrosion or concerns.
  • Perform diagnostic testing to ensure all components are working to full capacity and that the aircraft is safe to fly.
  • Install replacement parts as needed.
  • Create inventory of needed supplies.
  • Diagnosing malfunctions – diagnose what faults are caused by and find a way to fix them efficiently.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry advances and developments, and understanding changes in the components of aircraft.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Responibilites

  • Assists in, and learns, high quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of aircraft & engine systems and components on a variety of aircraft production models using proper hand tools, specialized equipment, and support equipment, in a timely, clean, safe, and professional manner with no rework. Records all work performed as OJT for record and development.
  • Accurately orders general components & parts, supports turn-in and record of removed parts, supports delivery and record of received parts as needed and directed.
  • Performs minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft & Engine systems and components.
  • Prepares various documents for record keeping purposes, as required by Company policies, FAA Approved Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals, All FAA regulations (FARs), OEM Aircraft Manufacturer chapter 4 & 5 maintenance requirements, etc. to include turnovers, and personal training logs.
  • Demonstrates proficiency of Elliott Aviation work order system by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, to include Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) Compliance statements.
  • Consistently Locates and uses appropriate technical data for OEM Aircraft Manufacturer chapter 4 & 5 maintenance requirements and follows verbal instructions to complete assigned maintenance tasks. Builds and develops personal quality maintenance mechanics and support techniques based on OJT experience to improve in proficiency and quality.
  • Supports, maintains, and complies with all Environmental, Health, and Safety, for federal, OSHA, state and local regulations.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned by management.

  • Ability to see and hear clearly
  • Ability to read, comprehend and speak English clearly
  • Ability to climb, twist, bend, crouch, stoop, kneel and crawl
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions as needed.
  • Ability to regularly push/pull up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass pre hire and random drug screening.
  • Ability to pass a criminal history records check.
  • A&P Certification Required
  • 4 + years of experience preferred.
