Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an aircraft mechanic
- Possess or have the ability to obtain FAA A&P Mechanic Certificate within 30 days of hire
- Eligible to work for US employer and travel inside and outside US as needed
Essential abilities and requirements:
- Demonstrate or explain proper techniques, method of operation, and safety practices to troubleshoot, repair, functionally test, adjust, and maintain airframe, avionics/electrical, engine/propeller, hydraulic, fuel, and/or pneumatic systems.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various aircraft IAW FARs and Technical Orders.
- Travel to AOG aircraft and perform required maintenance in remote locations with limited notice.
- Follow work orders, document discrepancies, complete paperwork promptly and accurately.
- Ensure proper transportation, storage, or use of hazardous wastes and materials (HAZMAT)
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain tools and equipment.
- Occasionally operate and service aircraft ground support equipment.
Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
