Residential Cleaning Specialist – Full Time

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Residential Cleaning Specialist to join our team in Richmond Virginia. This position will work between our two apartment buildings to help ensure our apartment homes are thoroughly cleaned and 100% move-in ready for new residents.

This role also supports the overall cleanliness of our communities by assisting with public and common area cleaning and helping with other projects as needed.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Full-Time)

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed residential cleaning of apartment homes to prepare them for new move-ins.
• Ensure units meet our high move-in ready standards before new residents arrive.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining common areas, including hallways, offices, laundry rooms, and shared spaces.
• Support management with additional cleaning tasks or special projects as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in residential cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable; hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry handling.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Knowledge of custodial procedures and familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
