The Opportunity

The Leasing Consultant leads the leasing journey from initial inquiry through move‑in. This role ensures a seamless, positive experience for every prospective resident while representing the brand with professionalism, care, and consistency. The Leasing Consultant drives occupancy performance and delivers exceptional service at The Q and across multiple communities.

Success in this fast-paced, dynamic environment requires strong communication and leasing skills, along with a genuine commitment to creating a welcoming and enjoyable leasing experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leasing:

• Greet and assist prospective residents with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Conduct compelling property tours that highlight the amenities and value of the community
• Serve as a knowledgeable product expert and community ambassador
• Follow up diligently with leads; nurture every prospect
• Guide prospects through the leasing process in accordance with established policies and procedures

Screening & Application Process

• Explain lease terms and policies to prospective residents
• Screen and verify applicants in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Assist prospective residents with applications and related documentation
• Follow up with applicants to expedite approvals and ensure a seamless lease and move-in experience
• Coordinate move-in preparations with community management team

Customer Service and Relationship Management

• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and prospects
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Address all questions, needs, and concerns with urgency and care
• Ensure an outstanding experience that reflects our company standards.
• Support efforts to maintain high resident satisfaction and positive online reputation

Other Duties

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2-year residential leasing experience required.
• Multi-site experience a plus.
• Proven success in goal setting and leasing conversion.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Yardi and Yardi CRM preferred.
• Proactive problem solver
• Adherence to community policies and procedures
• Follow community dress guidelines
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings as required.
• Strong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance and friendly attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to maintain professionalism while providing exceptional customer service.
• Responsive to feedback and adaptable to changing circumstances.

• Physical capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move objects up to 20 pounds.
• Reliable transportation for travel between various communities in San Fernando Valley. Possible occasional travel to Playa Del Rey area.

Schedule:
Schedule depends on the assigned community or communities.
Typical shifts are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and include Saturday and Sunday.

Community Locations: The Q Communities, in Woodland Hills and other portfolio locations in the San Fernando Valley. Possible occasional travel to Playa Del Rey area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
