Allegra at Shreveport Apartments 88 units, owned and operated by Brownstone Residential is hiring a Maintenance Lead. This is a great opportunity for a go getter interested in growing with a company that has many new properties and positions slated to open in the near future. The Maintenance Lead position assists in the overall maintenance of the property, completion of unit turnover, repairs, renovations, projects and on call emergencies. The Maintenance Lead will be directly responsible for carrying out all health and safety procedures that effect the property, its residents and employees. This person also supervises and coordinates activities of outside contractors engaged in maintaining and repairing the physical structures of buildings and grounds.

This is a one person maintenance position, with emergency on call required.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of two years in a related supervisory position.

2. HVAC / EPA Certification

3. Pool Certification

4. Computer literate to the extent of working with a computer on a daily basis

5. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in writing, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form

Physical Demands:

1. The ability to frequently lift, carry, push or pull 25 to 50 lbs. in a correct and safe manner.

2. Physically able to climb numerous flights of stairs on a daily basis.

3. Stooping: Frequently bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.

4. Kneeling: Frequently bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees.

5. Crouching: Frequently bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine.

6. Reaching: Frequently extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

7. Handling: Frequently seizing, holding, grasping, turning or otherwise working with hands.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
