Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with technical expertise to install, service, and repair all property systems in a safe, professional, and timely manner. Working under the direction of the Lead Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all homes meet strict habitability and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

· Appliance & Home Repair: Service, remove, and install appliances including stoves, refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers, laundry units, garbage disposals, and water heaters.

· Plumbing & Infrastructure: Repair or replace toilets, sinks, and vanities; clear main drain and sewer lines up to 4”; and handle professional caulking and grouting.

· Electrical & Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches, and fuses.

· Unit Turns: Assist with the "make-ready" process for vacant apartments, including minor drywall repair, cabinet/countertop restoration, and screen or blind installation.

· Preventative Care: Conduct regular maintenance on stair treads, hardware, and other common area fixtures to ensure resident safety.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum three years of professional apartment maintenance experience required.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; must be able to accurately perform basic mathematical functions.
• License: Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Physical & Availability: Must be able to lift-up to 50 lbs. following safe lifting procedures. Requires the ability to stand, walk, and work a flexible schedule, including a mandatory weekend shift rotation.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
