Apartment Maintenance Technician - Live On-Site

Seeking an experienced On-Site Maintenance Technician / Assistant Manager for medium-sized, luxury apartment complex. Requires on-site habitation where property allows no smoking and no pets.

Job Requirements:
Good maintenance, painting and people skills; valid driver's license.
Requires the ability to serve on-call, as scheduled, or as necessary.
Requires the ability to safely lift, transport or otherwise move objects up to 50-lbs various distances. Requires the mobility and flexibility to move and use ladders and to access and work in confined spaces, or at heights in excess of nine feet. Requires applicants have own tools to complete required tasks. Requires on-site habitation where property allows no smoking and no pets.

Summary of Job Description:
Works on apartment maintenance projects, where demands require a varied experience and ability to work without close supervision. To include: the maintenance and upkeep of property, buildings and grounds, performing essential functions; including, but not limited to the following:
Paint, cleaning and repairs interior of apartment units as needed.
Responding promptly to work orders, service and emergency calls.
Performing preventative maintenance.
Light plumbing, light electrical and ability to use a ladder when necessary.
Carry a personal cell-phone for on-call duty as applies

Act as Assistant Manager on the Manager's days off and vacations, which will include showing apartments, accepting applications, taking rent monies, dealing with tenant concerns.

Maintain good public relations with tenants, guests and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner.

Perform all assigned duties as directed by Property Manager or Supervisor and assist the overall team in any way possible.

This is a full-time position with competitive benefit package.

Stated compensation is comprised of cash compensation plus the value of rent-free provided apartment.
