Full Time Apartment Manager

M.D. Atkinson Company, Inc. provides Property and Asset Management services throughout California. Headquartered in Bakersfield, we manage both Commercial and Residential properties. Our focus is on the business needs and objectives of our clients, and our goal is to provide the highest level of service to our Owners, Tenants, and Residents.

M.D. Atkinson Company, Inc. is seeking a motivated, energetic, and highly organized Apartment Manager to oversee a 48-unit apartment community in Shafter, CA.

This full-time, on-site position is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys working with people, providing exceptional customer service, and managing property operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Reside on-site and manage the daily operations of a 48-unit apartment community
• Market and lease apartment homes
• Maintain resident satisfaction and support resident retention efforts
• Oversee the general administration of the property
• Monitor the maintenance and appearance of the community
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance personnel and outside vendors
• Ensure the property is maintained in a safe, clean, and professional manner

Qualifications and Requirements

• 1+ years experience in residential management
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Self motivated and able to work independently
• Reliable transportation and a valid California Driver's License required.
• No Pets Allowed
