API Banking Consultant

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in API banking, Open Banking, or fintech integration.
• Strong understanding of API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Mulesoft, Kong).
• Familiarity with banking processes, payments, and regulatory frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth2, and security standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and consulting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess current banking systems and define API integration requirements.
• Design and implement API-based solutions to support digital banking products and services.
• Advise on API management platforms, security, compliance, and best practices.
• Collaborate with business, technology, and partner teams to deliver scalable API solutions.
• Provide guidance on Open Banking, regulatory standards (e.g., PSD2), and industry trends.
• Support API documentation, developer onboarding, and ecosystem enablement.
