We are looking for an API Sales Executive to manage sales of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and raw materials. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, and achieving sales targets through effective communication and technical product understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new clients in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
- Promote and sell APIs, intermediates, and raw materials to existing and new customers.
- Handle customer inquiries, share product details, specifications, and pricing.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide after-sales support.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams for samples, quotations, and order processing.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and maintain CRM data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field (preferred).
- 1–4 years of experience in API/raw material sales (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical APIs, intermediates, and raw material sourcing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to travel for client meetings when required.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
