API Security Engineer

job summary: Ability to identify and convey significant partner insights through storytelling. You love working with data and are confident in your SQL and data movement skills. You are passionate about data and technology and have experience with or an interest in Analytics and Reporting.

salary: $65 - 66 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required. 10+ years of demonstrable experience in full stack programming Consistent record of accomplishment of working in collaborative teams to deliver high quality data solutions in a multi-developer agile environment following coding standard methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. Outstanding Python and SQL skills and experience performing deep data analysis on multiple database platforms. At least 5 years of proven web-service development experience with Java, Python and practical experience with AI/ML models or their delivery. Working with public cloud and cloud based technologies with AWS, Microsoft Azure preferred Hands on experience working with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka or Service Bus Building applications working with databases like Snowflake, Oracle, PostGres etc. Experience building and consuming REST API based integration and microservices architecture Experience with building reports in Power BI preferred Experience with software application testing approaches and tools like jUnit, Cucumber, Selenium preferred Experience with Chaos Testing and other SRE practices for building highly resilient cloud based software applications preferred Experience designing and developing applications in microservices architecture Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer needs and transactions Ability to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns

qualifications: Dedicated, highly motivated and a quick learner. Analytical approach- being confident in asking engaging questions to help tease out requirements details and technical implementation options often from more senior team members and customers. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
