Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled APP (Advanced Practice Provider) specializing in Cardiology inpatient care to join the cardiac group of a multispecialty practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, an inpatient expereince. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to inpatient cardiology services, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular conditions. The APPs work 3 10 hour shifts with rotating every 4th weekend. New graduates with previous cardiac expereince are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to evaluate cardiac health status in inpatient settings.
- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases, utilizing clinical judgment and evidence-based practices.
- Manage medication administration, IV infusions, and catheter care while monitoring for adverse reactions or complications.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized discharge plans, coordinate follow-up care, and ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Document all patient encounters accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems), eClinicalWorks platforms.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular physiology, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and acute care protocols.
- Experience with invasive procedures such as cardiac catheterization, venipuncture, and tube feeding management.

Pay: $135,000.00 per year
