Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; No nights or weekends. No call coverage

Pay Range

$47.50 - $71.25

Position Highlights
  • 100% Adult Medicine
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 pm
  • No nights or weekends. No call coverage
  • ½ day administrative time built into clinic schedule
  • Combination of outpatient clinic (one week) and inpatient responsibilities (separate week)
  • Opportunity to practice within a collaborative, physician-led team model

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive hepatology care in clinic and inpatient settings
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage follow-up care
  • Perform inpatient consults and participate in daily rounding when covering service
  • Manage average patient volume of ~12 patients/day in clinic.

Qualifications:
Nurse Practitioner
  • Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing Practice
  • Active RN license
  • National board certification
  • Acute Care certification required based on population served
or
Physician Assistant
  • Graduate of accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification required

Licensure
  • Eligible for or active North Carolina license

Experience
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience required
  • Interest or experience in hepatology preferred, but will consider those with GI, hospitalist or internal medicine experience

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, preferably with a background in GI, hepatology/transplant or internal medicine/hospitalist experience, to join an established hepatology practice in Pineville, NC. In this role, you will find a supportive clinical and leadership team with excellent colleagues in a team-oriented environment. This position will involve both outpatient clinic coverage with some inpatient coverage at Atrium Health Pineville. For example, one week outpatient clinic coverage and the following week inpatient coverage at Atrium Health Pineville. The provider staff consists of 2 MD’s and 3 APPs. No nights, weekends or call coverage.
