Apparel Designer

Dear Folks,

We are looking for Apparel Designer.

• Design and development:
• Conceptualize, sketch, and develop designs for apparel.
• Create mood boards and technical drawings/specifications for production.
• Research and trends:
• Research current fashion trends and predict future styles to inform designs.
• Analyze consumer preferences and market data.
• Fabric and material selection:
• Select appropriate fabrics, colors, patterns, and trims for each design.
• Production oversight:
• Create patterns and oversee the creation of prototypes and samples.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and production teams to ensure designs are made correctly.
• Conduct fittings and make adjustments to designs.
• Collaboration:
• Work with merchandising, marketing, and other design teams to ensure collections are cohesive and meet business goals.
• Present designs and concepts to stakeholders.
• Brand and budget management:
• Ensure designs align with brand identity, quality standards, and budget constraints.
• Create cost sheets and manage the financial aspects of the design process.

Skills and qualifications

• Creativity and a strong eye for design.
• Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong sketching and conceptual skills.
• Knowledge of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of the apparel production process.
• Ability to stay current with industry trends and sustainable practices.
• A degree in design or fine arts is often required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
