Apparel Technical Designer

Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Technical Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fashion design and technical specifications, with a keen eye for detail and an understanding of garment construction. This role is essential in bridging the gap between design and production, ensuring that our products meet quality standards while aligning with the creative vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage sample comments to ensure on time fit approvals
• Conduct fittings to determine fit corrections
• Analyze and evaluate garments to develop correct fit specifications
• Ensure all specs are correctly graded prior to production
• Ensure specs are clearly communicated to vendors within the calendar deadlines.
• Create and maintain block specs
• Communicate with overseas factories regarding constructions and fit issues
• Work with vendors to troubleshoot and correct fit problems
• identifies opportunities for more effective ways to construct product

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate should have a minimum of 5-year experience in technical design
• Must have extensive knowledge of patternmaking &amp, garment construction
• Ability to analyze workload and plan accordingly
• Must be deadline driven and detail oriented
• Must be able to multitask and work in fast paced environment
• Must have excellent communication and follow through skills
• Must work well in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
