Appellate Litigation Support Attorney

Mid-sized federal appellate litigation firm seeks a litigation support attorney. This is a non-track attorney position supporting the firm's litigation team, however, promotion to a track appellate-litigation position is possible.

The successful candidate has 1-3 years attorney experience and is detail oriented with excellent organizational and writing skills. Principal responsibilities involve document (case file) review as well as oral/written communication with clients. This job is perfect for someone who is returning to the legal field after a hiatus or otherwise does not want the high stress of litigation.

All applicants must already be admitted to the bar in any jurisdiction in the United States. Please do not apply if you are not already admitted to the bar (status must be active and in good standing regardless of the state/jurisdiction). The firm offers medical benefits; matching 401k; and performance-based bonuses. Starting salary: $75-$85k based on experience. This position is remote and requires residence in Maryland, DC or Virginia.

Resume must contain law school GPA and class rank and cover letter discussing legal writing experience.
