Appliance Installer and Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers while ensuring exceptional service and maintaining the integrity of the items being transported. This role requires a blend of driving expertise, mechanical knowledge, and customer service skills to effectively manage deliveries and address any issues that may arise.

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck to deliver appliances and equipment to customer locations.
• Assemble and install appliances as needed during delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Conduct basic appliance repairs or troubleshooting during delivery, utilizing mechanical knowledge and electrical experience.
• Read and interpret schematics for proper installation and assembly of delivered items.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition before departure.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to load and unload products efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, including experience with HVAC systems, refrigeration, and equipment repair.
• Familiarity with field service operations and service technician responsibilities is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to read schematics and perform basic assembly tasks.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
