Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck to deliver appliances to residential or commercial locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Install a variety of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC units by following schematics and technical instructions.
• Conduct appliance repair, assembly, and equipment repairs as needed to ensure proper functioning before installation.
• Read and interpret schematics, mechanical diagrams, electrical wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate accurate installations.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during delivery and setup.
• Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues on-site using your knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC systems, or electrical components.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, installations, repairs, and service reports; ensure all equipment is properly maintained and accounted for.

Requirements

• Valid DOT Medical Card is required for driving responsibilities.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver with knowledge of box trucks or similar vehicles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair or service technician roles.
• Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and assembly processes.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Field service experience preferred; ability to troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues on-site.
• Prior experience working with appliances such as refrigerators, washers/dryers, ovens or HVAC units is highly desirable.
• Physical ability to lift heavy appliances safely and perform installation tasks requiring bending, kneeling or climbing ladders.
