What You'll Do as an Appliance Sales Representative:
- Greet customers warmly and provide refreshments while offering attentive, personalized assistance.
- 
Listen carefully to understand customer needs and preferences, recommending trusted brands and tailored product options.
- 
Explain the Martin Advantage, including professional installation, expert service, and available financing or protection plans.
- 
Communicate availability, pricing, & lead times clearly for all products and backorders.
- 
Respond cheerfully and professionally to phone and email inquiries, providing quotes with photos and specifications as needed.
- 
Follow up with customers using their preferred communication method to guide purchase decisions and ensure satisfaction.
- 
Document quotes, sales transactions, and customer details to maintain organized records.
- 
Collaborate with teammates to create a positive, professional, & welcoming store environment.
- 
Work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with one alternating weekday until 7:00 PM and a minimum of two Saturdays per month.
Our Ideal Appliance Sales Representative:
- 
Experienced: Two or more years of customer service or customer-facing experience preferred. Previous experience in appliance sales is a plus.
- 
Customer-focused: Builds rapport easily, listens carefully, and asks the right questions to offer thoughtful, personalized recommendations.
- 
Detail-oriented: Maintains accurate records, quotes, and customer information to ensure smooth transactions and follow-up.
- 
Professional Communicator: Comfortable engaging with customers in person, by phone, and through email with a friendly, confident demeanor.
- 
Team-oriented: Collaborates effectively with coworkers to foster a positive, efficient, and welcoming store environment.
- 
Tech-savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn company quoting, tracking, and follow-up systems.
