Application Developer (Java | Orkes Conductor

We’re Hiring: Application Developer (Java | Orkes Conductor)
Location: Abu Dhabi (Local candidates only)

We are looking for a skilled Java Application Developer with hands-on experience in Orkes Conductor / Netflix Conductor to build, support, and operate scalable workflow orchestration systems. This role combines backend development with application support, ensuring high availability and reliability of mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (8+) & Spring Boot
• Build, manage, and optimize workflows using Orkes Conductor / Netflix Conductor
• Integrate microservices with REST APIs and external systems
• Provide L2/L3 support for Java microservices and Conductor workflows
• Monitor system health, logs, and performance; set up alerts and dashboards
• Troubleshoot workflow failures and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE, QA, and Product teams
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system uptime and reliability
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on programming experience in Java (Java 8 or higher)
• Experience with Orkes Conductor or Netflix Conductor
• Solid understanding of Spring Boot & Microservices Architecture
• Experience with REST APIs and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
