Application Engineer

1. Pre-Sales Technical Support

• Understand customer requirements and suggest appropriate machines, tooling, and process solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations or product demonstrations to potential clients.
• Assist the sales team in preparing technical proposals, quotations, and tender documentation.
• Support product trials and feasibility studies.

2. Application Development

• Develop, test, and optimize machining / process parameters for new applications.
• Conduct sample machining, trials, and proof-of-concept demonstrations at the plant or customer site.
• Document machining data, cycle times, tooling information, and process parameters.
• Work with R&D / Design teams to customize machines or solutions as per application needs.

3. Customer Support & Training

• Provide after-sales technical support for machine installation, setup, and operation.
• Train customer personnel on machine operation, maintenance, and application best practices.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and suggest performance improvements.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Production, Design, Service, and Sales teams for smooth project execution.
• Provide feedback from customers to R&D and Quality teams for continuous product improvement.
• Support marketing activities such as exhibitions, seminars, and customer demonstrations.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain an application database with process details, case studies, and success stories.
• Prepare technical reports, test summaries, and customer visit reports.
• Update management on application trends, competitor offerings, and market feedback.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of machine tools, CNCs, or equipment relevant to the Laser cutting machines, Co2 laser machines, wood router machines, stone router machine.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, automation, or material handling.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, machine convenient software , and ERP systems.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits, demos, and training sessions.

Qualification & Experience:

• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in applications, technical sales, or service roles in a machine manufacturing or industrial automation environment.
• Software Skills: MS Office, AutoCAD / CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.) preferred.

Performance Metrics (KPIs):

• Number of successful machine applications developed or demonstrated.
• Customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Reduction in machine commissioning time or customer support issues.
• Contribution to sales through technical support.
• Quality and completeness of application documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
